What Must I Do?

What Must I Do?
August 1, 2004

What must I do?
What must I say?
To make it obvious to you,
That I want you to stay?
Nothing I have worked at,
Nothing I have cried for,
Can testify as to why I am,
Aching in my heart so sore.
Your face is all I want at night,
By the end of my long and tired day.
So what I must do?
What must I say?
To bring you back to me?
I never wanted things this way,
So hear me try to explain...
I won't be foolish enough to say,
That I can't live without you.
But it does hurt each time I turn,
And into your memory, step right through.
A ghost, you haunt me, day and night,
Always lurking just out of sight.
And I wonder, every sleepless hour,
What are you doing, how you are,
If you've a new life, set miles too far?
And how can I reach you,
Through my heart to yours?
Hearts that once beat in tune for eachother,
Now rifting and skipping to another.
I wonder every sleepless night,
And every slow-paced day,
What must I do?
What must I say?

That such a sad poem...but good really good the message was good and I hope all the best for you. Keep smiling and one day you'll let yourself be loved and you will love again and you will see the sun through the storm.
