Every single time we argue and shout
Both our tempers rise
We are both on the edge
But slowly we are learning
That it gets us nowhere
And we recapture control
I would also like to say "I know everything"
But obviously I don't
I'm older and wiser
But not always right
I hate to lose an argument
Hate backing down
I'm still learning too
Never give up Daniel
Maybe just reassess the situation
I'll try if you will
I'm gonna try harder
Not to jump down your throat
Everytime you open your mouth
You make me laugh sometimes
I love that, when we're both happy
And I think you know that
I love you Daniel
With all my heart

OMG!!! This is so beautiful and so touching... I didn't know you were his Mom.... this is so sweet..... reminds me of how my sis and I used to correspond...I still we still do at times this way...lol...

This is a lovely heartfelt response to Dans poem Ali. I know you too butt heads quite often, but after spending time with you both I know Daniel loves you very much, and you him.
