Every single time we argue and shout,
My temper rises, I'm hanging on the edge,
I don't know what to do, I hesitate to throw,
Usually I would burst,
But today I'm in control.
I would like to say I know everything,
But obviously I don't,
I want to win all the fights,
I want to have the last word,
But what I need to do is give up.
I'm trying my hardest,
To not make you feel sad,
We have a laugh sometimes,
And I think you know that,
I love you, mum!

Hi Dan
This is a beautiful poem written straight from the heart. I know you and your Mum butt heads often, but just remember she loves you very much, and cares about what happens to you. Us Mums only nag because we care, and shes right, she has alot more life experience than you, and most often she will know whats best.
She wont always be right, but neither will you. You are a sweet kid, and I know you and your Mum will be fine.

what a nice poem to your mother. It shows how much she does mean to you and that she and you do share a wonderful love for oneanother. I think this poem will touch the heart of anyone who reads it. Good job
