He stood over her,
knife gleaming in hand,
face shrouded in shadow,
eyes clouded with rage.
A glint from his smile,
evil and dark in its glory,
a small and soft chuckle,
escapes from his lips.
Wide eyed she looks upwards,
hands bound behind her,
no move does she make,
in fear of his wrath.
He narrows his eyes,
they turn red as hell's fire,
he steadies his hand,
as it's beginning to twitch.
The knife is clutched tighter,
he leans in towards her,
sweat beads on his forhead,
the scar tracing his eye.
She gave him that scar,
some ten years before this,
now she's beginning to tremble,
as he tells her she'll pay.
The knife is held closer,
his laughter is wild,
the blade touches her neck,
and she knows she will pay.
