Fading dreams my eyes they burn
quenching wishes now soon turn
Into the laughable creative thoughts
The sum of the love lost that I bought

The dependent tendencies never come
to whisp you up and pull you through
They wait and see what they can do
as they realize the misery of fun

Dauntless memories plague my head
denounce the monsters under my bed
Submerge myself beneath my shirt
against the deafening cries of worth

The dependent tendencies never come

as they realize the misery of fun

Run past the unfortunate ways
of the healing breeze it sees
Lunge for the open door it breathes
and change the way things are today

The dependent tendencies never come
to whisp you up and pull you through
You must do it on your own
And cause yourself to be born anew

well done, a good write.
