My Love

Contributed by Rainfall on Saturday, 31st July 2004 @ 01:48:36 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

The moon sliver shines brightly,
The violin plays songs of hollow remorse.
For my love has gone
Has gone.
As I drink the juice of hearbreak,
And silver tears slip down my face,
I paddle through the water of sorrow.
As I watch the pink sunset,
I dream that he's next to me again.
The sun sinks below the horizon as I pour my heart out to these empty pages.
The salty breeze intruiges me
And my sanity leaves me,
As I wonder what life will be like.
My ears burn and my legs twitch
To know what is ahead,
Besides sorrow, sadness and nightmares.
