a land far away

Contributed by shorty_52 on Saturday, 31st July 2004 @ 01:53:50 AM in AEST
Topic: fictional

now now now
sit down my dear
i'll tell u a story
about a land far away from here.

it's a land of mystery
of wonderful dreams
it has everything you've ever wanted
of all types of things.

it's got a beautiful ocean
that when u look out
all u can see
is a deep blue ocean
a never ending sea.

and it has mountains
with snow at the peek
up there so high
it could snow for weeks.

then there's the forest
with all kinds of spiders and snakes
and beautiful trees
that have tropical birds and a wonderful lake
right in the middle
so there's nothing at stake.

then there's a desert
it seems as hot as the sun
all kinds of creatures live there
so you'd beter beware.

now my dear
you must go to sleep
your very sick this month
so dream of a land that you can keep.

i turn around
there the child sleeps
never to wake again.

This ending is pretty crazy. Very sad. But the descriptions of places would set any kid in a place of happiness. Great write babe :)
