If I couldn’t lie,
my skin was red
with healthy blood
and my strong heart.
If I hadn’t virtue,
my naps would last
at least ten times
what they do now.
If I shouldn’t speak it,
let the sensors
red flag every word
‘til I look like Mars.
If I wouldn’t have it,
and I’m not hating,
then I’m not sure
just what you see,
But if I don’t do it,
no one else will,
and that is why
I say these things.
