NO WORDS WHERE HURT IN THE MAKING OF THIS POEM

Contributed by MJC on Friday, 30th July 2004 @ 11:46:32 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

No words where hurt in the making of this poem,
So please, don’t waste your words on any threatening letters,
It just wouldn’t be fare to those words.
And if you must know, every noun you read in this poem is alive and well.
If you listen you can hear them noungilating off the lips of every person you pass,
Naming everything that they can.
And those adjectives you love to use so much,
Well they’re fine too.
They’re out there even as you read this,
Just adjictizing it up.
They can’t help but want to make life a little more clear for all of us.
And don’t even worry about the verbs.
You just know that they are out in the streets,
Helping people do what they want to with their verbatious ways.

If you still don’t believe me then pull that dictionary off your shelf,
Go ahead,
I dare you to look up every one of these words,
I bet that they are all in there and that all their letters are intact.
Hey, even fell free to look in a thesaurus,
They are in there too,
Doing some real crazy synonizing with each other.
So please believe me when I say,
No words where hurt in the making of this poem.

Very creative writing.
Isn't it amazing how two people can use the same words but come up with entirely different meanings.
five stars

Well, I was intrigued by the title before I even read it so I thought I'd take a look
I'm glad I did, this was a nice idea and well put together.
Made me smile
