Poetic Comforts

Contributed by Romantism202 on Friday, 30th July 2004 @ 09:40:14 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I can tell that you love my poetic expressions,
As I wish that your love like rain would pour,
Pour onto this tortured soul that zealously awaits your warmth,
The one that keeps my heart beating like yours,

I wonder if you savor my flavor,
If you think about my words constantly,
Or if they are much sweeter than candy,
As they kiss your lips passionately,

Do they caress you at night when it’s cold,
Do they captivate your mind when they ask you if I love you,
Do they warm your heart like ice cream for a midnight snack,
Do they caress your hair and tell you how beautiful you are,
Even when you have doubts about how to appear to your poetic dream,

Do they make love to you in your waterbed,
Even when they tell you that too much has been said,
Yet you know that your heart can’t stand the silence,

Do you brag to your friends about how the pain you once has come to an end,
For you have found the perfect loverman,
One who isn’t scared to hold your hand,
One who isn’t afraid to admit that he loves you,
One who isn’t ashamed to stand up for his queen,
For if you love her,
Poetic Comforts are a breeze,

Do you play with the flowers in your flowerpot,
Trying to figure out if he loves me or not,
Or do you love the way his pen speaks,
Relaying his feelings on paper to you,
Like a sprint to keep your heart beating with his words,
As I daydream about how to release your natural passions,
Reciting every word as it consumes your body,

What do you do when I speak to you,
Contemplate how to let your feelings show,
How to please your curiosity,
Or how to make love in ways unknown,

Do they make your smile warmer than the sunshine,
Do they make your heart dance to the beat of my drum,
Do they rub your feet when they are tired,
Do they excite that burning desire,

Do they tell you that I love your essence,
Do they tell you how I long to be in your presence,
Do they tell you that you're the one for me,
Or how I'll love all that you can see,
As I set your body free,

So when your next thought caresses your mind,
I'll be in your arms,
And when I start this love rendezvous,
There isn't a spot I'm leaving behind,
For I must love all of you or nothing at all,
Because love never tasted so good,
