Misery Lonely Friend

Contributed by Alina on Friday, 30th July 2004 @ 03:34:19 PM in AEST
Topic: AmericanTragedy

So, he wakes up in the morning
Knowing it's all gonna happen again
Growing up in a broken home
Being his only friend,
Knowing **** is never gonna change
Although he prays it always will
It makes him so angry
So one day he snaps
And finally has the courage to kill.

And Susie walks down the street
Waiting on her corner block
only for some odd change
Her life is worth less than "Crack Rock"
And it bubbles and cools
And is loaded in the pipe again
She's always been her one and only friend

And Jimmy doesn't know where he belongs
With a woman or with a man
His mind is going lost
'Cus he's his only friend

Rachel doesn't know what to do
Three kids and no home
Adoption and abortion
She is so alone
For she loves her children so
But it happens over and over again
Because she's always known
That it never ever ends.

And Daniel doesn't know what to do
When his wife sneeks out at night
He's always loved her so much
But no longer can he fight

And then 13yr. old John
Is a victim to solicitation online
Does he not know,
This is his last time...
That he'll ever know childhood
It won't happen again
Because this is life
Life has no friends.

So, THIS IS AMERICA !? ....
A place so "Beautiful and Free"
But no one cares to look,
At others MISERIES !!
