The leaves are falling, Joan, and season's changed.
Our summer's golden days are o'er once more,
and so, of course, our lives are rearranged.
Again, love, we have entered time's fall door,
to view past scenes that we've enjoyed before.
The leaves are falling, I have my lawn rake,
there's need for action, many piles to make.
