Running Away

Contributed by WestCPunk on Thursday, 29th July 2004 @ 05:40:12 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

***
I wish you would leave me the hell alone
And stop using that mocking tone
Time stands still
Filled with horrifying chills
You always blame it on the pills
As the vace falls
You will now have to admit to it all
You can't blame it on the drugs anymore
You can no longer ignore
The fact that I'm still lying on the floor
Out of breath
Minutes from death
Choking on my tears
Nothing appears
Quite so clear
While I'm sitting here bleeding
You still manage to get away with everything
I can't wait to get away
You can't make me stay
You'll eventually regret
All the threats
And all those days you made me upset
I'm not okay
So as of yesterday
I stand by what I say
And nothing will get in my way
Because I'm running away!
