expecting

You say your having a baby and I know it's unplanned,
but having a niece or nephew sounds grand.

Of all the things that you've ever accomplished in your life,
Nothing will be harder and put you through more strife.

Just thinking or hearing the little pitter patter of feet,
It makes me so happy inside and my heart skips a beat.

It brings a smile to my face and tears to my eyes,
Having "Aunt Juli" to sooth all the fusses and cries.

It also hurts deep down inside,
knowing that i might have lied.

Your only 18 with such a brite future down the line,
Having a baby right now just wouldn't be the right time.

You once told me that you wouldn'y have kids;ever never,
But i think this might be your most challenging;yet sucessful endeavor.

I'm happy and sad all mixed into one,
But I swear to God I will love and cherish that little one.

Everytime I think about it it brings a smile to my face,
Having a niece or nephew to stay the night at my place.

I can't wait to see the finger prints all over the walls,
And to hear the sweet laughter throughout all the halls.

Whatever you choose to do I will be behind you 100 percent of the way,
I will be there for you every single day.

I love you so much and look up to you too,
I will love you and be proud of you in whatever you choose to do.

I love you sissy!!!!

How endearing and honest. Your sister must be very proud of you and love you very much. I wish her the best in whatever she decides to do.
