We ask each other where are we from?
Where do we go, and where do we come?
Why are we here, right here, right now?
What do we not ever allow?
But we know the answers, and more.
I believe we can get to the core,
The core of the truth that is never spoken,
Like why are homes sometimes broken?
Why do children cry at night,
And Why are crimes almost never commited in light?
Why are you here, and I am there?
Why do people always stare?
Why are we picked apart,
By other things than whats in our heart?
What is a heart, and why do we think?
Why do we think we have no link,
To the person beside me, or outside the door,
Or the girl in the back we call a whore?
Why is there a black, and a white?
Why are our mistakes kept out of sight?
These questions I am afraid I can not tell,
But all I know is this is our personal hell.

Very very very true. I also have questioned all those things myself. And it makes me scared, and sad. It's a strange world we live in, and you depicted that very well in this poem. Good job.
