A letter to my child within … we all have one in our soul.
My child within has been in an adult body that has never grown up.
I cannot nurture her because the adult person in me does not recognize this emotion.
The adult never wanted to hurt or abuse her inner child in anyway.
I am so sorry that I could not show you the love a child so desperately needs.
It has been difficult to nurture you, as you should be because my dear child I did not
know how to do this.
I regret not being vulnerable enough to open my heart up to you and tell you how much I
love you.
There have been many times that I have wanted to place you in my arms and let you feel
the recognition and security I feel for you.
I have wanted so much to tell you that your are a beautiful person and that I care for you
so much.
I wish I could tell you now that I will be there for you, but I can’t promise you that I just
don’t know..
All I can tell you is that I will need your help and maybe we can both be able to do this
together.
My sweet child within me guide me to the opening of your soul, so that I can be open to
the love we both are seeking and need to experience so that we can move on.
Then and only then will we know that we are worth so much more in this lifetime,
because we will finally know what loving ourselves is all about
