Never Ending Pain

“Never Ending Pain”

Sitting here on this empty road
Looking to move forward, but nowhere to go
So I sit and wonder what’s going to happen next
Without you by my side, nothing could happen next
You are my spirit, you are my life
You gave me the courage to keep the strive
I miss you, I love you, and I could not live without you
I wish I could go back to that day
The day where I could see you for the last time
But I know I can’t and that kills me inside
I cry every time I think about it
I felt my life come to an end
I thought I could die when I heard
But I stayed strong for you and for me
God I’d do anything to talk to you one more time
But those times only come in my dreams
I wish something real would happen
Was it really you upstairs or was it something else
Because if it was you, at least I knew you were there
I know I’ve made some mistakes
I wish I could take them back
I’d take them back in a heartbeat
I know we will be together again some day
But please watch over me and everyone else until that day is here
I miss you, I love you, and I wish I could live with you

I have been where you are. It hurts alot to lose a grandfather.

What has worked for me is to remember him and keep the good things alive but to also live my life until I see him again.

My heart goes out to you and this write really touched me.

Kie :)

You're the greatest!!!!!!! I am so so so happy that you decided to share this with me and all the other people who have read it. I know how much you're grandpa meant to you (well from what you've told me). I just hope that you continue to overcome this hardship, and this was an amazing poem. You're the best.

Love you so much
hugs and kisses
You're best friend
Krista
