I waited by the phone today and yet it was the same
Another wasted memory to add to all my pain
I thought today was different
I thought today you'd call
but yet today has come and gone and it was wasted after all
Tomorrow you will call me and pretend that nothings wrong
Tell me that your sorry for telling me that you would call
I will smile on the outside and a tear will drop inside
As I tell you it don't matter, when I went to bed and cried.
Id do anything I tell you
and when I say it... it is true
I would do anything you could think of ... just to be with you!

Awh...how beautiful was that. It was just so so lovely, very heart touching & gripping. The love within for the individual shines through in the sentiments. Wat an out-standing write. Excellent & is a very enjoyable read too. Look forward to more from you. Thanks for sharing with us all.

I really connected with this ... and oh so perfectly written ... the waiting can almost drive us crazy, and yet we still sit there by the phone until we get the call the next day ... and even though we cry inside we pretend all is ok ... great write ... Jan |
