Today is My birthday, Yes its True
So I'm gonna Share My Birthday wishes with you!
I know on Your Birthday You only get one wish Granted to you
But on this 15th Birthday I ask for not one but Two
I wish That My 2 Brothers were here to share it with me
So we could be not Just one But three!
But one is in the Army fighting for you and Me
So on this 15th Birthday Its Just one instead of three
The other one is god knows where he's never really around
So on this 15th Birthday I Smile...No I Frown
The other Wish I have, Is not really a wish for me!
I wish for for my friend megan to be the person she use to be
See Shes Lyin in a Hospital Right now With an Amputated leg,
A punctured lung and Brain Damage to the head.
I HATE the fact that theres nothing that I can Say or Do,
Im soo sorry, I love you Megan Blue!
But girl I promise you one thing, put god 1st in your life
& follow the lord, & when we get to Heave you will Hurt never more!
I love YOU Magen!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can relate to you in this poem. I know what it's like not to have your brothers around. My brother died when I was 12 and I miss him so much. Working at the hospital I have seen this many times. It is really sad when it happens but there is nothing really you can do when they have brain damage. I work up on the Surgical and Pediatric Floor and I know how painful it is to see people hurt like that. Most of the time you can help them but then again there are times when you can't. I wish you could have your wishes come true. Maybe you can who knows. What you can do for your friend though is be there with her and think of all the happy memories together. Don't dwell on the saddness when she may not have much time to live. I don't know anything about the situation but its better to at least keep her spirts up. Good luck and godbless. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. She's in my prayers!

I hope your friend gets better and your brothers come home...
remember that amputation is an obstacle, but not a death sentence, same thing with the brain damage... depending on the severity and a punctured lung can be repaired.
Tell her this... and be strong for her... she needs you to be.

*hugs you tightly* Awwwww I am so sorry to hear this, birthdays are supposed to be a joyus occasion, but your are filled wth hurt and pain, I'm glad you shared your birthday with us all , hopefully we can do something to put a smile on your face hun :)
