When Nothing Else Will Do
Here is something you may know,
so something I can’t fake,
it’s only you or time
that will remove the ache.
Your way is much more gentle
and so sweetly given too,
yet if it’s time then time shall be
when nothing else will do.
What is this ache I speak about?
Why, it’s an ache for you that drives me wild
and sets me trembling in the night,
when doonah, pillows in my room
conceal this lover’s plight.
There’s not one other who can do
that which I feel when I’m in you;
to me it feels like heaven sent,
and every word I’ve said in here,
in every sense you know I’ve meant.

Again, I like your rhyme scheme - its refreshing and the message is clearly expressed. I know the 'ache' you talk of, and I hope the person concerned read this poem to find out.
