I see the pain within your eyes
why is it no big surprise?
mommy i wish you could realize i love him so
that is the only thing i want you to know
i wish you knew how much he cares about me
but i realize there is no way to make you see
you cant chage the course of love
the one who does that is the man above
mommy i still love you
but i cant help it i love jake too
you cant resist the pull of fate
i cant help that my mind is in this state
i hate to see your eyes filled wtih tears
something i havent seen in years
