See Death Coming

Contributed by dazey on Wednesday, 28th July 2004 @ 05:32:12 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

See death coming, See death Near
Feel your heart beating with fear
There's no where to run
There's no where to hide
You'll feel it getting closer
You'll feel the coldness inside
It looks you in the eye, with its evil grin
From this point on Hell is about to begin
You fall to your knees and begin to pray
Before you know it, your skin turns gray
No Mercy
No Remorse
Just a rotting body as your corpse.

That's one way to see death..very nice write. Thanks for sharing.

But death isn't to be feared, it isn't a foe and not evil. Its a guide and one all will know. What is sometimes scarey, is the mirror we see, when watching time catch up, each day is less and less, and the eyes go deeper and deeper, and the body fades more. Makeing its time for the soul to be guided from here to eternity.

Welcome to YPDC, dazey! We're always delighted to have another poet join us here.

Such a dark introductory piece! Intriguing that you should open with death... Well, you've got my attention! I do hope you'll stick around and share some more.

Again, welcome!
