Little Village

Contributed by secretwind on Tuesday, 27th July 2004 @ 05:06:35 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

The sun is shinning
a new day begins
time to get ready
to do
the same ol thing again,
dress to impress
get in my car
while i'm at work
dream of being a star.

I hear the towns clock
It must be 12
In 5 more hours
I'll be released from this hell,
here i must endure
local soap operas and gossip
I keep my mouth shut
but
I don't like it.

I'm driving down a road
that i know to well
can't seem to escape
stuck in this routine
where i dwell,
at night
I rock and roll
I hip and hop
sometimes i lose control
and don't know when to stop.

I toss I turn
somehow I made it home
I hear a maon I am not alone
and I am sure
I've done this before,
The stars are shinnig
like the are suppose to
I'll keep my mouth shut
cause I don't know what to do.
