I pray...
Descend upon me, oh! Holy Spirit,
For I eagerly wait for thee,
Each day that passeth o’er my creation,
Has been empty for I’ve been blind not to see
My need for the gifts which thou dost endow upon me,
Has been overlooked by my hypocrisy and pride,
Please forgive me, for I’ve been a sinner all along,
For now I need all the gifts I’ve denied,
Blow over me, oh! Holy Spirit,
And take refuge in my preparing heart,
Aid me to bear the fruits of thy unconditional Love,
As I turn to God for a re-awakening new start
...Amen

Very nice. I can actually imagine it in bound form, repeated with service. :) muc better than some sunday prayer. Thanks for sharing it... its nice to know that many people think about spirituality & self more deeply than making it to sunday mornings. :) |

Because you agreed you area sinner, you are saved. You are strong. Most deny the fact that they are a sinner and their eyes are closed. There are little sins we do not even know we are doing, its the big ones that we are conscious of, and those are the ones the Lord asked us, to forgive ourselves, others and will be forgiven, He asks us to go on and try not to do them again. Lovely prayer. For all those who doubt, have little or no faith, trust in Him. He and His promise lives... Raquel Leah |
