From Mount Hebron Cemetery,
stones and monuments roll
with the hills into the horizon,
until, they blend with the city
skyline.
The buildings look like towering
tombstones, giant mausoleums,
new pyramids for the new
pharaohs.

You have incredible imagery here. It is easy, unintentional, almost, to imagine the space in your verse. Thank you for sharing this! |

How little changes in our evolution as a species. We live, so self important, and we die. Nice write. |
