Swimming
Murky waters surround me
A cold sensation touches my body,
Sharp,
Caressing the soft folds of skin.
Whispers
A touch, and all is well,
The softness that was touched before,
Changing,
Like a ripe strawberry, staining lips.
Opening
The scratch begins to open,
Dripping redness where there once was
Nothing
Like white teeth on a black baby.
Ragged
Breathing, remember, 1and 2
Don’t forget the sharp sensation
Disposed
On the ground for all to see.
Thoughts
A thousand images popping up,
In your mind, and memory
Scarred
Your life only half lived.
Finished
This is not the last time,
You will feel that cold caress,
Diminished
Your life full of regret.
