Thank you for leaving me
My blindfolds are gone and I can finally see
You made me realize that I was strong
And I didn't need you to get along
At first I was sad and shed a few tears
And of course I'll remember you for the rest of my years
But then I discovered I didn't need you by my side
And although we can be friends, I still haven't tried
The stars don't belong to you anymore
The more I think of it, they never should have before
I'm starting to forget and I have moved on too
But you obviously can't, that's why I feel sorry for you
At one point I wished you could at least stop and say "hi"
Now I know the best thing that ever happened between us
is when we said "goodbye"

| Great write. I everything you have writen has happened to me only my guy didnt leave he's still in my life and i fall for him everytime i talk to him. Keep writing you are great at it. |
