You're that girl
who stares at me in the mirror
You're the one
I deal with every day
the only one who
never goes away
But you disgust me
sometimes in ways
that I care not to describe
Yet you're there
in times of need
You hold me back
when I try to flee
because it's not worth it
to leave it all behind
And you're there
every time I cry
I can't hide from you
You see all that I do
I just get scared
sometimes inside
But you're there --
all the time
Forever.
Don't leave.
Because I need you.
Please.

I can't say that I understand how you feel...cuz I love the person I see in my mirror....but you have certainly written it very well.... Hope to see you posting more often.....
