Memories Flooding

Memories flowing,
never stopping.
Yesterday,
last week,
a month, or a year ago.
Squeeze my head to make them end
but they break through the barricade.
Consuming all of my being and thought,
I am absolutely useless.
Don't eat the pills,
do use that needle,
put down the knife,
I love you so,
so many...
mostly sad.
Just close my eyes,
sleep them away.
Maybe you won't remember them
in the morning.
