I never wanted to be in love.
I never wanted to feel my heart ache.
I never wanted something so bad and couldn’t have it.
I never wanted to feel the love of another person.
I never wanted to feel the longing of loving someone.
I held up my wall so tight and strong.
I never let anyone break it down and walk towards my heart.
I kept myself so guarded and secured, so I thought.
I could not believe how the wall I built around me had fallen down.
When I meet you and I opened my heart and soul to you.
I believed the words you told me.
The kindness you gave me I could feel them in the words you wrote to me.
I was a fool though I opened up to fast and too hard.
I got hurt and now my heartaches for you.
I never wanted this feeling to occur and feel this pain in my heart.
Now I have to go through this loss of losing you.
Can I make it, I think I can. And I will open my heart again to someone who really cares.
For hiding behind the wall only made me bitter and lonely.
Taking a chance in love is a beautiful pain to have gone through.
Because when love comes again my heart will be stronger and freer.
And I will welcome love again with open arms.

i never thought love could hurt but it hurts like hell your poem is a poem im soo sure people can relate to i know i can

| No one ever wants to be off guard, but LOVE does that to all..........it does hurt, and can be painful. But, it can also, be beautiful. Find the one who, can and will do that. Because hurt, once, does not mean it will be bad again! |
