Halloween
Witches, broomsticks, ghosts and ghouls
Cauldrons, bats and magic tools
Can you guess this scary scene?
Of course you can, it’s Halloween
Jack-o-lanterns burning bright
Ugly witches taking flight
Painted faces at my door
Trick-or-treaters wanting more
In moon-bright light, shadows loom
Tales that monster’s rise from tombs
Goblins, black cats, ghostly frights
Children running through the night
Vampires lurking in the trees
Mummies dragging bloody knees
Frankenstein with arms stretched out
Make the kiddos scream and shout
Spider webs hung from the trees
Where ghosts dance freely in the breeze
What a wild and frightful scene
This holiday called Halloween
