Online loves are a different breed.Smooth talk and compliments are always there to read. You read the lies and they do too. It's a game to play when there's nothing else to do. Remember this and realize, you'll never have to look into their eyes. So listen ladies and gents, you see. You ain't the only apple on the tree! Cause when you're offline and go to bed, your online "love" is browsing the web.When they tire of you and you of them,and your time is done. You know there's no such thing as number "1" When they are gone and gone to stay, you're glad there are no lawyers to pay!!The proceedure is simple, in fact it's rather neat. Just scroll your mouse and click DELETE!!

it's sad you have this view about love online,
cuz it can be as real and strong as in person or sometimes even stronger

| Sometimes very true, but definitely humorous. (I met my husband on CB (not much different than online) through voice only first and we've been married 28 years). |

it sounds like you have been hurt very deeply, *big hugs* ...personally i believe online is no different than times of long ago when letters were sent by horse and rider, just quicker now, people are every bit very real and feelings and hearts are every bit as involved so honesty is as important as in any other way you meet, for communication, in a relationship:) hugs n' love nessa

I have one like this only I've known him for over 50 years. That's the ONLY kind that is safe, but even then......what you said is certainly right.......Words are easy, but doing what they say is "tight"

| Relationships can be bad or good no matter where they begin. However, though at a very lonely point in my life I allowed the online friendship take over my life and was hurt deeply I can not agree all are the same. Most important people tend to forget that behind that screen is a real live person. Listen to your inner feelings... usually the telltale signs are there that something is not quite as sincere as you'd like it, much like any other meeting no matter the distance or place. June |
