A FAIRY TALE
An intricate pattern of love lost and found
Observed by her so curious and delicate
Still unsolicited by the explicit factors of society
Enchantment enveloping her innocent mind
She dreamed of fairies and princes, an everlasting love
Magic and castles, of birds and blooming days
A fairy tale of eternal worship she waited to arrive
And here she is now waiting still
She watched in awed silence, all grown up now
And already quite knowledgeable with the turning of the wind
Aware on how the beautiful are never desolate
And the ugly ducklings cruelly deserted
Void of worship and social admiration
The image of perfection did not end in happily ever after
And the created world of magic and purity
Had dissolved into nothing but a vague memory
But still, traces of innocence stayed in her heart
And hope still lingers deep in her soul
Down under, the kings and queens still lived on
And the castle in all its magnificence still flourished
The entity of a young child that cannot be overwhelmed
Refused to let go and surrender to the shadows
Because she knows, that someday, somehow
A haven of magic may still yet be born
