Traveling Light

I'm traveling light,
that's headed your way.
You'll know when i'm there,
i'll turn your night into day.
So you can see everything
except my invisible ray.
You'll find it quite illuminating when my particles wave.
I'm traveling light.
I am what I do.
By the time your aware of my bright,
i'm many miles past your view.
In all of my journeys,
I have never been passed.
I am the very definition of the fastest of fast.
Now this traveling light
is a most mysterious glow.
Man has part of it right.
(But which part? He don't know.)
But on this all agree:
To my work, I am slave.
There still ruminating
just how my particles wave.
I am traveling light.
Just traveling on.
I'm always on my way
to light a new dawn.
With a spark that will flash.
that turns to burn
then to blaze.
They will know when i'm there.
and turn their nights into days.
