Never ment to

Contributed by lil_angel on Monday, 28th October 2002 @ 07:15:00 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

I never meant to cause you all this pain
I never meant to cause this much heartbreak
I just wanted to get out my own pain
And still help all of you with yours
I can’t handle you turning your back on me right now
Please don’t walk out of my life
Please I beg of you
I couldn’t handle the rejection anymore
I scream at the top of my lungs
But no one hears me
Until it is to late
I want to talk to you
I just don’t know how to form the words
When you are ready
I will try and talk
But you must understand I am used to hiding all of my pain
For I need to be strong
Please listen to me
I need to sit down and talk
I can’t handle that look in your eyes
The look that hunts me in my dreams
I want you to wrap me in your loving arms
Hold me for I feel like I am going to collapse
Please love me
Show me that I am loved
Don’t laugh at my reasons
For even to me they are still unclear
I just need some one to love me and to listen to me
Please be that person
I can't lose you

Such pain and misery for one person to bear. If you write this down and give it to the person you feel like you hurt maybe they would understand.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
