Sorrowful Cry

She was a happy, carefree child,
Full of life untill defiled.
Innocence taken against her will,
She struggles each day to climb the hill.
Some days are good, she thinks she'll win,
Untill a reminder, she starts to spin.
Sorrow so deep all she feels is numb,
She doesn't want to be a helpless victim.
She wants to help others by offering hope,
Letting them know there are ways to cope.
So when you hear a sorrowful cry,
Reach out your hand, be an ally.
