Only Me

Contributed by poetichands on Monday, 28th October 2002 @ 06:30:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I always been the one to listen to others, the one people could run to, the one people could tell their problems to and give feed-back on the situation.
I always tried my hardest to to give others what they wanted, tried to make others happy when it was doing nothing for me.
I was always the one with real problems but when it all boiled down to it who was there for me?
No one I was the only one.
I never been the one to run to others when I needed to.
I keep every thing to myself because I was the only one who truly understood me.
I been the one and still am the only one for me.
Nobody understands me I can't get through.
Always hidding the pain, being a person I was not.
But now I realize I'm the only one for me.
What more could there be?
There is no other like me there is only me and thats all theres going to be because no one understands me but none other than me.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
