Why didn't you want me?
What did I do?
I only ever wanted 2 be with you.
But you hit me and hurt me nearly everyday.
In the end I was glad 2 get away.

It is sad that this has to be part of your memories of bio parents. I hope you are very happy with your adopted parents and that they make up for some of the hurt you had to endure. Your birth is not by choice. Adoption is and means you are special to them.

so sad...so many parents don't appreciate the the life that they helped create all they do is use them and take out all their anger and problems out on their children...its a horrible thing to go through and i'm glad that you got set free...great poem
