WRITER’S BLOCK

This place, this virgin territory,
The air is alien to me,
Who are these people?
These faces staring into my soul,
These strange eyes that cannot touch my heart,
What land have I stumbled upon?
An eerie fog touches my face,
Finds it way to my mind,
Paralyzes my thoughts,
So the only color I can see is white,
Unexplained anxiety,
Profound insecurity;
Scars my mental process,
The remnants of experiences,
Inspirations, Vindications
Trickle away at the fissures,
Vacuum and a sick smile appears,
Because I cannot say who I am anymore,
It seems the links between my thoughts have broken,
Barren land of restlessness and its morbid air has shrouded me
I am unable to conquer this horrid tranquility,
This deplorable sense of complacency,
That has taken away my vision,
I am unable to write now,
Powerless to feel things for what they really are,
Agility is dead,
Insensitivity reigns,
The dubious designs of life no longer astound me,
The canvas has been set ablaze,
My heart no longer bleeds the colors,
The ink which told my tales,
A gale came this way,
Blew away all the words,
I ever had to say,
Left behind the debris,
And a naked tree,
Staring in the face of eternity,
Waiting for a mizzle,
A drizzle that will give life,
To the contemplation of this yearning soul,
Help it break from the control;
Of a disease called the writer’s block.

Whoa.. way to psychoanalyse a simple thing like writer's block!
I'd say the analysis worked, pretty interesting stuff here. The way you described that "horrid tranquility" and "deplorable sense of complacency" really struck home. But I love:
My heart no longer bleeds the colors,
The ink which told my tales, |
