Topic: Lifepoems

What would happen if you ran into yourself while walking down a dark alley?
Would you be dissapointed?
Would you run away?
Would you shake with fear?
Would you drop and pray?
Or would you smile and carry on?

What would happen if you saw a freind that had died long ago?
Would you cry tears of sorrow?
Would you wonder about your own life?
Would you think about the meaning of it all?
Would you say goodbye?
Or would you say hello and carry on?

What if you saw no one around you?
Would you keep looking behind you?
Would you tremble in fear?
Would you feel alone?
Would you scream outloud?
Or would you sing a song and carry on?

Carry on my friend, carry on

I like the message this poem conveys. It draws attention to one's attitude to ALL things in life, though these particularly bizarre scenarios do definitely beg some thinking. Very ponder-worthy, this.

Of course, I don't know many humans who can wake up to a world without people and simply... sing a song. But one can always try ^.^
