Am I strong enough for the harsh reality
That people out there want to bring me down
Just because of my unique personality
They’d like to frown
When they don’t even know me
People can be so wrong
That they can’t even see
It’s only making me strong
Some say words can’t hurt but they really do
Why should I go along with what others think is true
I know what gets to my soul
That hits me so hard I can’t be whole
Only I know what situations are bleak
So am I really strong enough to not be weak
Am I strong enough to walk through pain without shedding a tear
And going through the harshness of life without showing my fear
Feeling death of a loved one so close to home
Am I strong enough to hold it on my own
Am I strong enough to be sure
That all this drama I can endure
Am I strong enough to forgive
Rather than keeping the moment to relive
I can’t carry the worlds’ woes
But for loved ones I’ll stand tall
Because someone I love I can’t bare to lose
You know what? I know I’m strong enough for it all

you sound strong to me. I like the way you move through words. its unique. This is good, very good. You show skill by rhyme, i cant tell you how many poems Don't Rhyme Anymore and its pathetic. But this shines through. some of the sentences seem pretty long, but who am i to judge? keep ontop of your poetry and you can go places.
