As I look into your picture,
As I look into your eyes,
You seem quite haunted.
A lot you sacrificed.
Great Granddaddy!
I hope you know of me.
As I look into your picture,
As I look into your face,
You don't crack a smile.
Sometimes, you were disgraced.
Great Granddaddy, Joseph
I hope that you can read.
As I look into your picture,
As I look into your forehead,
You appear so strong.
A lot of blood you bled.
Oh, Great Granddaddy!
I hope you will believe.
As I look into your picture,
As I look into your skin,
It's so dark and so surreal.
I'm just glad to be your kin.
