For My Wife

Contributed by thunderwolf on Friday, 23rd July 2004 @ 12:46:46 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I always used to wonder if there was love at first sight,
The night that I first met you, I found it to be right.
I knew right away that you would be my wife,
My love for you so strong that I would gladly give my life.
You are always in my dreams and always on my mind,
To say true love doesn't exist, one would have to be blind.
Now over twenty years later, I know that I still feel the same,
To all the wold who will listen, my love for you I proclaim.

Very good write. Can i ask how you are so sure? Just as an advice thing. What makes a love so strong tht you are sure after twenty years? And were you as sure about 18 years ago as you are today? Please respond. Welcome to YPDC!
