Today you cried while you hit me
as if you actually cared
you've hurt me so bad before
as if my cries weren't heard
So what have we got here
have you opened your eyes?
have you changed? do you care?
you always say you love me
actually every chance you get
but does that mean i have to love you back?
I know you put your heart and soul into this
but can't you see?
it wasn't meant to be!
we cry so often
almost everyday
but you can't see
this wasn't meant to be

| i know things like that are hard to go through. i used to live with an abusive step father. but im glad your getting through that. and the poem was amazing. |
