Killing You Inside
I take your soul
What was never yours
Blood unites us all
The possible downfall
The answers not found
Start to amount
Your life
Amounts to nothing
Your purpose
Never found
You take whatever was
Without just cause
Everything sacrificed
Doesn't suffice
Your life doesn't matter
Death is the only counter
You don't believe
What you haven't seen
I cause you tears
Your very worst fear
I took your life away
It didn't deserve to stay
I took the reasons
That gave your life meaning
I am something real
What you always feel
I kill you inside
With your mind
I'm the feeling
That makes you kill yourself

| Every ten years some one close to me has committed suicide. Last week another friend did so and I want to know the answer. Your poem strikes a chord that resonates through me. |
