Standing behind my shadow of dreams
can you hear my voice calling, hear my screams?
I cry out for help, yet nobody hears
Nobody's around to wipe my tears
•••
Terrified in my corner, my eyes turning wet
The wind it whispers, just like my breath
I hide a secret, that's not to be found
I'll take it with me to the ground
•••
Nobody sees, it's hidden away
Under my fabric, where it will stay
I run my tounge across my painted lips
I touch my hair, i blow a soft kiss
•••
I turn in shame to never look back
Shadow of dreams, took me back
In my soul this will always dwell
I'll punish myself, my eyes are swelled
•••
I never left your side, till you said go away
In my shadow of dreams is where i'll stay
I'll now forsake my cut flesh body
You've proven to me, i am nobody
