I used to see in black and white
Through the darkness and the light
I remember all the kiddie rides
And I never cried
But over the years things changed
My whole life got rearranged
Moved from city to city
I always got the chance to change my identity
But I always ended up the same
Always filled with so much pain
You may say that was in the past
But can't you see that I'm still the outcast
Alcohol ***** up the mind
And that father figured man is not so kind
Mom's never around
This house is always filled with a silent sound
.....Unless someone's yelling
Or complaining
I'm always confused
Constantly abused
No one to turn to
When the skys are not so blue
I don't have a future here
It all comes down to the last tear
The only thing that could possibly
Make me
The least bit happy
Is if I got to choose
My own destiny!

Well, when you are old enough to go out and make your own destiny I hope you make all the right decisions. It is not always an easy thing to do. You may choose a completely different life and still not be happy if you don't choose to be or make the wrong choices.
