Our Black Cloud

Our friend the big black cloud,
Is getting pleasure in hanging around,
Watching us as we struggle along,
Feeling like we don’t really belong.
Things were right in our reach,
We almost arrived at our beach,
But someone went & moved the sun,
Deprived us of our lifetime of fun.
Our happiness has been a bit clouded,
The love we have has been surrounded,
By worry, pain & stress,
Things have all become a mess.
Life is hard & a real big pain,
It turfs out hurt again & again,
With you next to me I feel quite brave,
Ready to jump aboard the next wave.
But together we can chase the cloud away,
Begin to enjoy the light of the day,
The love we have will see us though,
I have found a true companion in you.

Reminded me Pixie of the cloud with the silver lining.....no matter howbad things may be become.......there is always something you can find to help remind you how blessed you are instead!
