Wings Of Hope!

With dawn awake a bird
That survived the brightest night
Beside, lay the birth-giver
Ashed by the thunderous light

Moving away from the curse
The bird drags its tethered wings
None to feels its pain
None to ease the sufferings

Shadow of a floating hawk
Adds to the life’s misery
It wonders if to run for life
Or wait and end the drudgery

Clinging to the last breath of hope
It fights death that clouds its soul
It flaps towards a piece of log
And enters a tiny hole
