The description is what lured me to read your haiku, and the power of this ancient form in describing your experience is undeniable. I have been critical of haiku in the past, but I think you've converted me, as the brevity and discipline lend weight to an emotional issue that needs no further explanation. It seems strange to evaluate such a piece on literary grounds--but, suffice it to say, I don't see myself forgetting the final line anytime soon. I hope the guy who did this to you will meet justice, one way or another. Until then, take care, be strong, and seek comfort in the idea that the universe has ways of working things out, in the end. -KAC-

Yes, what can one say.

The fact that you've have permitted yourself to be
victimized by the same guy four times leaves me
speechless....

The poem was great. It's how you let people treat
you that needs work.

this poem is breathtakingly amazingly excellent, its right up there with the works of all my favorite famous poets, they would be proud, i am blown away by the depth; also i am so sorry you had to go through all that you have, but through the sorrow and pain your pen flowed with golden glory, big huge hugs n' much much love nessa

well, i am nauseous to the pit of my stomach. the way you spoke in your description reminds me of my ex. perfect poetry, but now i'm stuck in my seat. intoxicated almost. you have my complete sympathy, if you want it, which I doubt. anyway....there's nothing more to say.
